Akshata has done her Schooling in Bangalore. She received her undergrad degree from Claremont McKenna in California and did her MBA from Stanford. She has worked with Deloitte and Unilever.

The Guy with whom she is going to marry is an Indian classmate of hers from Stanford Business School.
