Its Very Easy to show, Just you have to do a Single Setting In your Orkut Profile. Ok Then Follow Me..

1) Open Orkut.com
2) Log in With your Orkut Account
3) Now Click On your Profile Edit Option which is below your Profile Image
4) Now There is an option for your Birthday Date and also in that row there is an option That would your like to show it to yourself or to your friends also. Just Change that option from Myself To Only My friends.

Done

Your Birthday Reminder will start Showing after a few couples of minutes.
Note :: Your Birthday Reminder will start showing on orkut before 15 days of your Birthday Date
