On September 21, 2009, an Meeting was held in which SKF India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has appointed to Mr. Shishir Joshipura as Managing Director of the Company, effective December 01, 2009.

Mr. Shishir Joshipura will take over from the current Managing Director of the Company, Mr. Rakesh Makhija, who has been appointed as President, Asia of the SKE Group effective January 01, 2010.

The stock was trading at Rs.279, down by Rs.1.25 or 0.45%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.285 and low of Rs.278.05.

The total traded quantity was 3494 compared to 2 week average of 12364.
