Kanjeevaram Film Won In National Awards 2009 ! Prakash Raj for Best Actor

Kanchivaram, kanjeevaram film an Tamil Film has won the Best Movie Award in the 55th National Film Awards. Shah Rukh Khan for Chak De India , Aamir khan for Taare Zameen Par, and also Shahid Kappor for Movie Jab We met were there in the Award Race but Tamil actor Prakash Raj beat them all.

Prakash Raj won the Best actor Award for the movie Kanchivaram. Not only this Prakash Raj had also won the Best Supporting Actor award for his 'Iruvar' in 1998 and also a special Jury Award in 2003.

There were more than 100 entries, including Taare Zameen Par and Chak De India but the Award goes to best one i.e. kanchivaram
