Vishal Yadav Wipro ! Vishal Yadav Wipro News ! Vishal Yadav

Vishal Yadav (28), a software engineer from Wipro Technologies, committed suicide by allegedly jumping from the multi-storeyed Wipro office building in Bangalore, police said today.

The deceased is a native of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, a PTI report quoted the police as saying.

Vishal was working with Wipro since 2004. He was on three months leave and last month he sent in his resignation through e-mail from his hometown which was accepted by the firm.

Wipro said Vishal was an employee of Wipro since May 17 2004.

"We regret demise of a Wipro employee, Vishal Yadav, in Bangalore, " Wipro said in statement.

According to preliminary information he might have fallen from one of the floors in an office building in Electronic City campus, said the statement.

"He was immediately rushed to the nearby hopsital, however despite all the efforts we were unable to save him."

Wipro said the company is exetending all possible supports to the bereaved family and also to the investigating agencies.

It is the second suicide by techies reported in a span of one week in Bangalore, both by jumping from multy-storeyed buildings. Bikash Kumar Sharma (26), a senior network analyst of the leading IT firm Hindustan Computers Limited (HCL) committed suicide on August 19, Wednesday after jumping from the fifth floor of a building.

Is there another suicide going to get un-noticed in Wipro! Yeah they are good at messing up and then covering it all up in no time. I am an employee of Wipro and is working for the same client as was Vishal. Its heard that he had an HR interview the day he committed suicide. Its foolishness to say that a person would be on leave for 3 months and then come to office just to comit suicide!! People are made to resign in Wipro forcibily because this corporate dont even want to take the responsibility of firing people. People are harassed by words like "If you dont do what we want, we will put such negetive comments in NASSCOM that you would not get job anywhere in India" and these words come from nobody but the Head HR (Amit Badkas) of BFSI vertical. So I highly doubt that Vishal would have resigned by himself. Police should investigate the appraisal rating he received for this year. Its 3 months over since wipro completed the appraisal process. This year they had targeted some employees from each projects and planned their exits using appraisal process by giving them NI (Needs Improvement). No wonder even if the employee had received an Exceeds Expectation in previous year's appraisal. This is HR policy of use and throw! This doesnt end here. Then they force such employees to resign by humiliating and harassing them, so that they can put a big fake smile to media and say that even during recession they did not fire any employee. Though a person would have worked days and nights for the project and Wipro would have stolen 90% of his hard earned money (Wipro pays its employees only 10% of the money they receive from customers for that resource). Once the project is over they dont wait much to put employee into a program called enrichment where they pay only half the salary and force resource to sign a draconian contract which voids all previous legal documents signed with wipro including the offer letter by threatening them with their unlawful termination. And if employee dont get the project in couple of more months during enrich program, the harassment begins which finally ends with forcible resignation. Employee satisfaction is very low in wipro and many people are waiting for recesssion to get over to escape from this prison of attrocities.

wipro has been harassing employees in all means...governament should take action against wipro by not entertaining them in any govt contracts.

Let me share my experience with wipro here.I have joined there at 2004 as fresher. I am red tag now. But looking for right opportunity to leave this company. I was happy with this organization till 2007.May be fortunately i have got good projects to work upon.Eventhough the managers around me doing politics, I could see some ethics in the working place.
After the recession started, the real face of wipro came out. I hope all the companies have done layoffs. But the way wipro thrown out the people was pathetic. There was sense of fear to each employee whether they are in the billable project or not. Performing well or not. The politics reached off its height.
Even though i have cleared the exams given by these shits,i was not given promotion. I was working at the client place.unfortunetly there is no one to take care of us there. Neither wipro nor the client. The Client treats us like slaves. If you escalate that to wipro, wipro doesn’t bother at all. Just wipro need money. Simple Term!!! There is no ethics unfortunately. If this continues, then the organization may ask us to lick their shoes also for money. By the name of recession, all these managers enjoyed the luxury life. The technical manager of this account won’t even reply to your concern mail and won’t pick up the call if you call him. If he is not addressing our concern, then I don’t know what the hell he is doing the office!!!! Earlier days, I have escalated many issues and get it done. That was a healthy environment I felt. That is the one reason I didn’t quit this organization for sometime. Now I am scary to escalate that TM, because I may be axed. Another reason is, I lost the believe that the escalation will work at present.
Everyone in my account at client place just waited for the recession to get over. Now almost half of the population put paper this is what wipro will get back if it doesn’t bother about its employees. Now that TM under huge pressure Most of my teammates also waiting for our turn. Hope that soon, the account will be closed
I heard that attrition rate in wipro out of control in wipro. Lack of good resources and replacements are getting tougher. So wipro is recruiting new people with heavy packages. But they wont give anything to the their own employees.
My humble request to the new joinees of wipro is, please reconsider the offer letter given by wipro. Even though u get better pay compared to others, your life will be doomed in wipro. Life is more important than money!!!

:)) ;)) ;;) :D ;) :p :(( :) :( :X =(( :-o :-/ :-* :| 8-} :)] ~x( :-t b-( :-L x( =))
