Paul J. Browne spokesperson for police chief said, the body of DJ AM was found in his SOHO apartment, he said according to detectives he had not been there long, further more he said, police did not suspect any foul-play up till this point.

According to an official, some unstipulated Rx-Drugs and a crack pipe was found near Adam Goldstein body, whereas he was found facing down in his bed he was just wearing sweatpants, moreover, he said emergency workers broke his apartment door to get in, after 911 call has been placed by a close friend of DJ Adam Goldstein who was trying to get in contact with DJ for several days.

It is important to tell you that back in 2007 in an interview with N.Y Times DJ AM, admitted that he use to smoke cracks, use cocaine in his early 20’s but after reaching to the lowest point where he tried to kill himself back in 1997, he cleaned up his act and had a gastric bypass surgery as his weight was over 325lbs at that time, he said he is clean for last nine year.
