Catelynn from the show on MTV called "16 and pregnant." She and her boyfriend Tyler were really strong, very responsible, and gave up their daughter for adoption. (The only one in the series that did not keep the baby).
Tyler and Caitlynn's parents, are Much more Selfless.
Way to go Caitlynn. It was so hard to watch....but possibly the best show in awhile.
This episode of 16 and Pregnant was the best episode of the season. It was a real tearjerker. Catelynn and Tyler were so brave and strong to give that baby girl up. I defiantly think Catelynn’s mother could have handled things better. She should have supported her daughter’s decision to give the baby up for adoption. The adoptive parents seemed so nice, almost too good to be true. If I was in Catelynn’s situation I would pick them as parents too. My mother and I watched this episode together, well we’ve watched the whole season together, and she cried the whole episode this time. I think it was mainly because she is adopted and it touched her heart.

ReplyDeleteGreat couple of young people. I know they'll grow up and succeed in life and ten years from now they'll have kids and be great parents when they are ready.
The baby's grandparents were very disappointing. Aside from the issues of adoption, this episode was proof that kids with lousy parents can overcome that disadvantage and be wise and compassionate and strong.
